Chronicle of Thermal Adventurer: Wellington
And so the journey continues with our 4 days & 4 nights stop at the capital which was named after Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, the victor of Battle of Waterloo. Here we were graciously hosted by our friends from the medical schools who chose/forced to go here after their third year. Here, our typical day goes like this: morning breakfast with free hot chocolate at med school - sightseeing - lunch - sightseeing - dinner hosted by one of our friend/PSD officer/MSD attache. This part of the trip was more on meeting friends/recruiting people than seeing the city but the city itself is certainly beautiful, much like the rest of NZ, with plenty of attraction to go to.
